Day 3: Confessions of the Recently Canned

All of my boring meeting fantasies about being a lady of leisure have come true! I am a lucky girl! Huzzah!

Only this is not quite the leisurely life I had envisioned. For starters, in my daydreams it is not 12 degrees and snowing. In my daydreams I am not trying to conserve cash. There are also more fresh flowers and I don't need to dust the living room.

Confession #1:  I stayed in bed until noon. After going to bed at midnight. #Sorrynotsorry

I have good intentions. After finding myself with time on my hands, I made a list of all the things that need to be accomplished around the house. None of them got done today.

But that's okay. Tomorrow.

Confession #2:  I haven't washed my hair since the weekend. Don't judge.

To ease your mind, this will happen tomorrow before breakfast with a friend. To be clear, I am not destitute. Yet. Though I am taking my friends up on any offers to dine for free. First Watch? Yes, please!

Confession #3:  I have checked my Facebook page dozens of times today.

I rail against this on a good day, but in the absence of a real live "water cooler" setting, I have tapped into social media more than I care to admit. My email account has also gotten generous glances. I feel very disconnected.

Confession #4:  I did not throw away the newspaper or Giant Eagle circular in my mailbox like I normally would.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to need them for packing material. No jinxing it.
